Draw the paths, place the castle, paint where towers can go and compose the waves. Paths fork and merge: the challenge lies in how they converge.
Tower defense · level editor

Build a level, play it, make it better. Then publish it: only maps their creators have beaten get published.
A real game on “Changing of the Guard”: four archers hold off the hobgoblins and, when the ogres arrive, you have to sell them and build mortars in their place.
Draw the paths, place the castle, paint where towers can go and compose the waves. Paths fork and merge: the challenge lies in how they converge.
Place towers, upgrade them through nine levels and choose who they shoot at. Every map asks for something different: the right order, a smart budget, or a change of plan halfway through.
A map is only published if its creator has beaten it exactly as published: the game is recorded and the server replays it with the game itself before accepting it. Then anyone can download it from the game.
None of them does everything. What matters is what you build, where, and in which order.
Light damage · 60 gold
Cheap and steady. The backbone of any defense.
Crowd control · 90 gold
Barely does damage: it slows a whole group to half speed. Put it before your damage towers, or the time it buys goes to waste.
Area damage · 120 gold
Slow and long-ranged: each shot damages the whole group where it lands. It shines against packed crowds, especially if a Frost tower bunches them up first.
Heavy damage · 140 gold
Slow and pricey, but it pierces heavy armor.
Goblins of the Iron Crown. Each one calls for a different answer.
The foot soldier. Neither fast nor tough: it comes in numbers.
fast
Twice as fast as a goblin and fragile. If you don't slow it down, it slips through.
swarms
Small and frail, always in a crowd. A mortar sweeps them away.
armor splits
Lightly armored. When it falls, three gnomes spill out at once.
armor
Slow, huge and armored: an arrow barely scratches it. That's what the cannon is for.
Made by players and beaten by whoever made them. Open one to see what it looks like and play it in the game.
The game is in development and you can already play the beta on itch.io, for free. Steam and a community to play other people's maps before anyone else are coming soon.
